She completed her MA and PhD at Ege University, Graduate School of Natural and Applied Science, Department of Biology-Zoology. Thesis topics are on the neurobiology of terrestrial invertebrates and the effects of herbicides on terrestrial invertebrates. She worked as a teaching assistant at Munzur University; as a research assistant and expert biologist at Ege University. She was dismissed from Ege University in 2017 because of being a part of Academics for Peace.
After her dismissal, she worked on two separate projects on the investigation of rights violations in the dismissals of academics and the freedom of expression, media, association and assembly carried out one after the other under the executive of HRFT.
She is involved in the climate justice movement and the struggle for ecology. She is going on her studies on climate crisis, ecological destruction, climate refugee issues.
Yüksek Lisans ve Doktorasını Ege Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü Biyoloji-Zooloji Anabilim Dalı’nda tamamladı. Tez konuları sırasıyla omurgasızların nörobiyolojisi ve herbisitlerin karasal omurgasızlardaki etkileri hakkındadır. Tunceli Üniversitesi’nde öğretim görevlisi olarak; Ege Üniversitesi’nde araştırma görevlisi ve uzman biyolog olarak çalıştı. 2017’de Barış Akademisyeni olduğu için Ege Üniversitesi’nden ihraç edildi.
İhraç edildikten sonra, akademisyen ihraçlarında yaşanan hak ihlallerinin araştırılması ve ifade, medya, örgütlenme ve toplanma özgürlüğü konuları hakkında TİHV yürütücülüğünde ard arda gerçekleştirilen iki ayrı projede çalıştı.
İklim adaleti hareketi ve ekoloji mücadelesinde yer almaktadır. İklim krizi, ekolojik tahribat, iklim mülteciliği konularında çalışmalarını sürdürmektedir.
