In 2009, he graduated from Harran University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics. In 2013, he completed his master’s degree in Social Sciences Institute of Marmara University which name is “In the Second Half of 19th Century Bitlis and Tobacco”. He completed his doctorate in Social Sciences Institute of Marmara University which name is “The Effects of the Economic Motivation in State-Tribe Relation After the Tanzimat: Milli Tribe (1839-1914)”. As a peace academic who signed the peace declaration, he was dismissed from the university with the Decree-Law No. 686 in 2017. His research interests are Economic History, Economic and Social History of Tribes, Socio-Economic History of Minorities, Economic and Social History of the Republic of Turkey, Tobacco in the Ottoman Empire, Economic and Social History of the Ottoman Empire. However, the history of democracy in Turkey and the role of institutions are among the subjects he is interested in. He continues his academic studies under the umbrella of BIRARADA Science, Art, Education, Research and Solidarity Association, of which he is a member.
2009 yılında Harran Üniversitesi İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi İktisat Bölümü’nde lisansını bitirdi. Yüksek Lisansını 2013 yılında Marmara Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü’nde “19. Yüzyıl İkinci Yarısında Bitlis ve Tütün” isimli tez çalışması ile tamamladı. Doktora derecesini ise 2020 yılında yine Marmara Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü’nde “Tanzimat Sonrası Devlet-Aşiret İlişkisinde Ekonomik Motivasyonun Etkileri: Milli Aşireti (1839-1914)” başlıklı tezi ile tamamladı. Barış bildirisine imza veren bir barış akademisyeni olarak 2017 yılında 686 sayılı KHK ile üniversitedeki görevine son verildi. Araştırma alanları, İktisat Tarih, Aşiretlerin Ekonomik ve Sosyal Tarihi, Azınlıkların Sosyo-Ekonomik Tarihi, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nin Ekonomik ve Sosyal Tarihi, Osmanlı İmparatorluğu’nda Tütün, Osmanlı İmparatorluğu’nun Ekonomik ve Sosyal Tarihi. Bununla beraber Türkiye Demokrasi tarihi ve kurumların rolü ilgilendiği konular arasındadır. Akademik çalışmalarına üyesi bulunduğu BİRARADA Bilim, Sanat, Eğitim, Araştırma ve Dayanışma Derneği çatısı altında devam etmektedir.
